Collection: Jointers

Jointers are machines that will produce a flat surface along a boards edge. The cutter heads in these machines will hold carbide inserts that offer multiple cutting edges, easily replaceable, and very cost effective. There are two types of cutter heads used, either a spiral cutter or a straight. A spiral cutter will offer improved performance because it will lower the harmonics of the machine, by only having one cutter in contact with the wood.
