CUT-OFF SAW
BLADES
|
These popular saw blades are designed for cutting across the grain
recommended for cutting-off or trimming all varieties of hard or soft wood.
Diameters may range from 6" to 84". The best choice for tooth style is
determined by the location of the saw arbor on the machine: if it is
ABOVE the table use
the style "M" tooth; if it is BELOW
the table use the style "L' tooth. Teeth are set and
filed for clearance. Saw blades listed are most popular and are carried in
stock for immediate delivery. |

HOLLOW GROUND SMOOTH
TRIMMER SAW BLADES (Style P)
|
Expertly engineered to cut-off and trim soft wood with exceptional
smoothness and without splinters, these saws are particularly well suited to
smooth-end trimming in saw mills. Hollow ground for clearance. they are
furnished with tooth Style P with 45 alternate face bevel. The teeth act
like small knives which actually plane the cut while trimming the board to
length. These saws can be used on power feed and multiple saw automatics or
two-saw trimmers as well as for hand feed trimming on table, swing saw or
straight line cut-off machines. |

HOLLOW GROUND PLANER
COMBINATION SAW BLADES
|
This blade has been developed and perfected for very fast and remarkably
smooth cutting in any direction of the wood. It is the outstanding choice
for hand feed operations where a smooth cutting combination saw is required.
Its Style S tooth has extra hook to take a fast feed. Its special hollow
grind provides plenty of clearance for free and easy passage through the
work without collecting gum or burning. The result is more cuts between
sharpenings; cuts that are so smooth that sanding can be eliminated. |

HOLLOW GROUND MITRE,
PLYWOOD AND CUT-OFF SAW BLADES
|
Used principally for mitering and cutting off light
stock such as in cabinet and cigar box work, these blades leave a smooth,
finished surface that does not require sanding. They are not recommended for
heavy cutting. Hollow ground for clearance, these blades are generally
furnished with style L tooth but are available with style M tooth made to
order. For power feed trimming of hardwood flooring, these blades can be
recommended when made to order 1 or 2 gauges thicker than the stock sizes
listed. For example, the 12" blade should be ordered 1 1-14-11 gauge instead
of 13-16-13 gauge. |
